Our goal is to provide our small hometown of Mifflinburg, and the rest of our market, with delicious and approachable craft beer. You won't find any gimmicks here - just damn good beer.
Rusty Rail Brewing Company began with a group of passionate craft beer drinkers and a shared dream. In 2013, that dream became a reality with a small batch of beer brewed in the parking lot outside of our brewery in Mifflinburg, PA. Since then, after over two full years of construction and rigorous recipe trials, we have graduated from a ten gallon pilot system to a 15 barrel (450 gallon) brew house with 300 barrels of fermentable space.

The brewpub is located at 3525 Liberty Avenue in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The church building was originally built in 1902, and had been used as a church until 1993. Its doors opened as The Church Brew Works on August 1, 1996, after the building underwent an extensive renovation, necessitated by years of lying dormant after being officially deconsecrated by the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 1993.
As of September 2007, three flagship brews are locally distributed: Celestial Gold (light lager), Pipe Organ Pale Ale (English pale ale), and Pious Monk Dunkel (Munich-style dark lager). The in-house selection is rounded out by a rotating Stout, four seasonals or specialties, and one varying cask-conditioned ale. Also available are Millennium Trippel, a Belgian Tripel (in champagne bottles and 5L minikegs) and Cherry Quadzilla, a Belgian Quadrupel (champagne bottles only).

To take advantage of this offer, contact Amy Sanor at email@example.com or 814-808-4750 ext. 2. Just mention that you heard about the offer through SCYP!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Toys for Tots bucket brigade. A few groups did not show up, and Gene was tremendously grateful for the SCYP volunteers!! We helped move TWO rooms filled with toys that will bring joy to children in our community during the holiday season.
Thanks to all our members who attended Sips last night! After drumming up interest for the Toys for Tots Tuesday, December 20th. While SCYPers are welcome to attend any of the public wrapping sessions, Toys For Tots has expressed that the greatest need for our volunteers is for the Bucket Brigade. The time commitment should be no longer than a couple of hours. We are meeting at the Room 206.
