A SCYP Winter Roundup

A SCYP Winter Roundup
It’s still chilly here in Happy Valley, no matter what the groundhog says! Luckily, SCYP has put together a ton of fun events for our members to help get us through to spring. Here’s a quick overview of some of the amazing activities we organized at the beginning of 2016!

Member and certified fitness instructor Cassie led a class at the North Club that was free to SCYP members. The class, Centergy, is a blend of yoga and Pilates, designed to stretch and strengthen at the same time. After the session, the North Club offered SCYP members a special deal on free classes with the purchase of a 2 month membership.

January also marked the first-ever New Members Supper Club, led by membership directors Julie and Jenn. We enjoyed drinks, dinner, and company at Happy Valley Brewing Company, and hope to make this a regular event!

In another first for us, several members met up at 2000 degrees for Pottery and Wine Night. Masterpieces were made! Stronger friendships were forged! All in all—success.

Finally, SCYP league volleyball continues as a great way to spike away those winter blues!

Looking ahead to the near future, we’re excited to host a social committee meeting, volunteer with Out of the Cold, provide a Financial Planning session with member and financial pro Amy, and put on our first-ever Speed Networking event at the Ramada.
