State College Young Professionals is hosting our October SCYP Social at Boal City Brewing on Wednesday October 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. We hope you’ll join us in the beer garden! Boal City has trivia that evening too, so make team with your friends and stay after for that!
This month we will be joined by “The Jared Box Project” volunteer, Sarah Beckman. This locally founded nonprofit has a national reach delivering smiles to hospitalized children through gift boxes full of toys, art supplies, and various other play items. Sarah will speak about The Jared Box Project’s mission and about ways to get involved, and you may have the opportunity to sign greeting cards, decorate Jared Box lids, and make donations on Amazon.
SCYP Social presents you the chance to meet new people, catch up with friends, and hear about SCYP’s upcoming events. Shared appetizers will be provided using your entry fees/membership dues. Bring your friends and co-workers with you. We can’t wait to see you there!
Not a member? Just want to check us out for a night? Stop on by! Non-members may attend SCYP Social for $8. There you’ll get a chance to meet with current members to see what SCYP is all about. By the end of the social if you would like to become a member, your entry fee will go towards your membership.
