Join us on Monday, July 13 at 6:00 PM for a fun evening of friendly competition at Happy Valley Mini Golf!

We’ll meet in the parking lot at 6:00 PM and split into groups of 3–4 to play a round together. Whether you’re a mini golf pro or just looking for a fun way to spend the evening, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and enjoy a summer night out.

💲 Please note that each attendee is responsible for paying their own admission fee.

If there’s interest, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant afterward to grab a bite to eat and continue the fun!

Wings. SCYP. Social. State College Young Professionals is hosting our July SCYP Social Wednesday July 1 at Buffalo Wild Wings from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. This locally owned franchise boasts the second largest Buffalo Wild Wings TV screen behind only Las Vegas – 180 inches! You’ll be able to catch knockout stage World Cup games just before and after our Social, so be sure to plan accordingly.

Whether or not you are a sports fan, we invite you to join us! SCYP Social presents you the chance to meet new people, catch up with friends, and learn about the great event SCYP has planned for you this summer. Shared wings and appetizers will be provided using your entry fees/membership dues. Bring your friends and co-workers with you! We hope to see you there!

Not a member? Just want to join us for a night? Stop on by! Non-members may attend Sips for $8. Participate in a Sips and you’ll get a chance to meet with current members and board members to see what SCYP can offer you. By the end of the social if you would like to become a member, your entry fee will go towards your membership.

Join us for a Summer Potluck Picnic on Saturday, June 27, from 1:00–4:00 PM at Tom Tudek Park!

We’ll be gathering at Pavilion 3 for an afternoon of great food, games, and community. SCYP will provide hot dogs and bottled water, and attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite dish, snack, or dessert to share. Please sign up here to let everyone know what you’re bringing:

Volunteer to help the local Public Media run their Kid’s Day event and earn a free park day pass and lots of Delgrosso’s sauce.
WPSU, the Public Media Station for Centre County, is running their annual Kids’ Day at Delgrosso’s Park and SCYP will be joining this year with some volunteers. We’ll be helping with setup and running activity tables. Opportunities will range from just supervising a bubble blowing station to even wearing the Daniel Tiger mascot costume if you’re interested.
Activities will be outdoors under tents, and water will be provided throughout the day to avoid the weather. Delgrosso’s will be providing a pizza lunch around noon.
All volunteers will receive: 1 free day pass to Delgrosso’s Amusement and Water Park, 1 commemorative WPSU/Delgrosso’s Pizza Sauce, and a box containing a variety of Delgrosso’s Sauces (2 Pasta Sauces, 2 Pizza Sauces and a Sloppy Joe Sauce).

Current Carpool has 5 open seats, but we can look into another carpool if there are more volunteers.

The annual SCYP Brew Tour is back, and we are making our way in style via Motorcoach towards St. Mary’s/Clearfield/Dubois to spend an eventful day visiting four breweries and a distillery!

**Not the biggest fan of beer but don’t want to miss out on the fun? All of the brewery stops serve a combination of cocktails/mocktails, local wines and ciders!

We will meet at the N. Atherton Weis Markets parking lot in the morning, boarding the bus for departure at 9:45am. Anticipate some fun trivia entertainment on the bus! We will return to the Weis parking lot around 8:45pm. Lunch and dinner can be purchased at the designated locations listed above. Additionally, it is always encouraged to bring your own water and snacks for along the way.
